    SRSLY. is the Italian hometown of Future Bass, featuring UK post-dubstep acts at their national debut.

    After BEN UFO, PARIAH and PAUL SPYMANIA (at their first gig in Italy), IKONIKA (first time in Northern Italy) and the electronic shaman SHACKLETON, SRSLY. carries on its post-dubstep evangelization campaign, welcoming at Puddhu Bar the new British Messiah of ultrabasses: GIRL UNIT!

    ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

    Girl Unit, born Philip Gamble, is one of the most discussed young artists of London.
    He started djing in the British clubs as Girl U No It's True, playing ghettotech and Baltimore club/house at 150 bpm. He shortly made his own way through the hottest underground parties of the capital and he joined the Night Slugs circle, one of the most influent labels of the contemprary electronic music scene (among the first 10 in the last annual ranking of Resident Advisor). After the conquest of London and the landing in Bristol, the Mecca of dubstep, Gamble expanded his paths conquering the main clubs of New York with his music.
    2010 has been the year of the ultimate turning point. Girl Unit published on Night Slugs two EPs, I.R.L. and Wut, which consecrated him as one of the revelations of the British music scene. His agenda got busy with numerous remixes (among which Katy B) and the Fact Mix 154 for the homonymous renowned English magazine. Deep basses and sharp rhythms characterize his music, enriched with female vocal samples and vintage synths, showing the influence of hip hop, 2-step and UK garage.
    While The Guardian hails Girl Unit, proposing him as virtual candidate for the next Mercury Prize, Resident Advisor places Wut #11 in the ranking of the best tracks of 2010, befor giants like Caribou, Four Tet and Matthew Dear.

    Resident djs » VAGHE STELLE // GUIDO SAVINI // MATERIAL

    Vaghe Stelle is gaining an international profile, after being released on Margot Records and being inserted in the Modeselektion Vol. 1 (Double CD Edition). He recently played live at Micro_Mutek (Barcelona), Club To Club and Dissonanze (Italy).

    Guido Savini is the lead singer of DID post-punk band and promoter of Loser (they brought Mount Kimbie in Italy for the first time). He combines bass frequencies with broken rhythms and his own funky attitude.

    Material is the young talent of the SRSLY. crew.
