Squeeky cubase vocals!

    Ez, trying to use vocals in a tune im working on but everytime i load something in it is high pitched and squeeky as hell!! Anyone help me out here?

    give a bit more info man,

    like how and wher are you putting them? are you sure its not feedback from ur internal mic (thats if you have one)

    between a low hum and a high whine
    check that the sample rate of the vocals is the same as the project's.

    Tried.

    Wherever i put it, even in a completely fresh new project without even touching the tempo or timestretching or anything it still sounds like a gerbil!!

    Problem solved. converted it from wav to mp3 now its fine!
