    anyone into this? i mean only old school 97-02 speed garage.....none of this bassline crap......MASSIVE in sheffield back in the day. we ran the whole scene up here.
    had all these tunes on vinyl...plus a fuck load more....

    1st person who posts a bassline tune in here is a complete tosser and has failed in all aspects of life.....

    Really now, so what was Sun City, Pure Silk, La Cosa Nostra, One Night Stand @ The Gass Club, Exposure, Twice As Nice doing then?

    It goes back further then '97, since '95 it was doing it down this end....get to know ;o)

    i was too young for all the clubbing....but my best mates cousin was old enough to get into niche (i say old enough, he was 17-18)
    and he had decks and bought all the tunes....i remember you could buy some tunes from HMV because they was usually a b side remix on a proper chart song.

    I used to get various Hardcore/Jungle tunes in HMV in Romford many many moons ago, used to find some gems in there as people wouldn't really think they stocked them sort've tunes there.

    yeah mate, thats what im talking about. thing is back in the day the tunes got released the same as pop tunes did, so you could find em in HMV. phat chance of this happening today....i bet they get the odd pendulum tune on vinyl tho!

    The HMV in Lakeside shopping center used have an alright selection of Vinyl, not sure if they do now though.

    The HMV in Kingston used to have an alright selection of Vinyl as well actually.

    It was all about Big Apple Records in Croydon tho, best Garage record shop going when it was open. Loads of exclusives.

    HMV in Lakeside stoped selling vinyl a good couple of years ago. Same with the one in Bluewater. Shame really.
