    true true. I wouldnt listen to this station in a fit anyway, and I think it can screw melody / lyric driven tunes if its too much. I do wanna find out what percentage pitch-up was involved, cos it sneaky as !! And I reckon others must do it somewhere ...

    yeah I'm sure one of the biggest stations 'for a fun, young London' does it too. It does create an up beat vibe & I think some tunes do benefit from being played at about 1-2% faster. I only really notice rap tunes being sped up & I don't see anythin wrong with it. This station cuts the tracks up tho, by cutting the end of some verses of tunes off to shorten tracks & moving parts of the tracks around- blatantly to squeeze in more adverts. I don't mind it because it means you hear more tunes in a space of time.
