“We were obsessed by it. We were slaves to it. We both loved and hated it. All we did was think about it. We worked tirelessly to fulfil it. And we did so in relative secrecy...” Spectrasoul, 2015

Production powerhouse SpectraSoul return with their second studio album, ‘The Mistress’. Building on the foundations laid by their critically acclaimed debut ‘Delay No More’, the follow up sees Jack Stevens and Dave Kennett return with an album that takes their songwriting skills to new heights, exploring more deep and diverse electronic territories, all the while retaining their unmistakable drum and bass brand. Alongside hugely talented vocalists including Harleighblu, Joshua Idehen, Lilly McKenzie, Tamara and more, SpectraSoul have created yet another beautifully crafted long player that looks set to satisfy bass music aficionados the world over.

    Tracklist:

    Ghost Lane
    Shelter ft. Lily McKenzie
    Always
    Blindside
    Real Good ft. Harleighblu
    Hot Head, Rock Bed
    III Chord Interlude
    More To Give ft. Tamara
    Kutchi ft. Joshua Idehen
    Choices
    Lights Go Down
    Sasquatch
    The Mistress ft. Dan Moss

3 tunes per side. Seems like there's no CD for this as well. Oh well. Looking forward to hear the full digital album though.

Surely it includes a CD or something, the last couple have, otherwise £20 is asking a bit much.

:upset:Is the vinyl really going to be 33 rpm 3 tunes per side again?

I really liked the sampler but I agree the cost is pretty harsh

I didn't rate I Don't Mind at first, like at all. But it's really grown on me. Excited to hear some audio for the album.

That's right! The minimix is in album tracklist order, hence why I could deduce which track was which.

I really love what I heard in this mix. I think this will be a lot better than Delay No More...
