Ite, im a complete noob at mixing so be kind.
Newbe to djing, just set up decks, got vinyl etc but im a little confused about speakers and/or amps. Do i need both? If so any decent reasonably priced recomendations?
All help much appreciated.

Theres a few options out there that would be good for starting with.
I've been using the Logitech z-2300 since I started. Comes with an alright sub and the speakers are nice and clear.

The subs a bit muddy if you push it too hard but its ALOT better than no sub (especially with drum and bass).

They only cost me 100 quid, which is roughly what a cheap kam amp and speaker package would cost.

If you want to go cheaper than that then have a look here:

Not heard such good things about the behringer speakers mind...

Hope this helps!

a cheap hi fi will do as long as it has an AUX output, if not the kam sounpack range from htfr is pretty reasonable http://www.htfr.com/more-info/MR170866 something like that is alright. you can probably get them cheaper off ebay though

I bought these the other day from htfr, needed summit cheap I could run a set up through.. these do the jod pretty well, no complaints

u can get decent second hand speakers on ebay for shit all, just try to get them off some middle aged bloke thats only used them to play his jazz collection on sundays :)

If you don't have this, you should not even attempt to mix.
