South American D&B?

Easy,
I'm travelling South America this summer, from June 28th to August 24th, going from Rio across the country through Bolivia and ending at Lima in Peru.
I'm planning on doing some writing on the d&b scene out there, and obviously it would be cool to reach nights there anyways, so was just wondering if anyone's been out and knows of any nights/local djs/general contacts I can get in touch with?

I went to Colombia for a month at Christmas as I have a house over there, and everyone I spoke to (mainly people my age) hadn't even heard of Drum & Bass

Obviously you're more likely to find stuff in Brazil, but apart from that theres not much hope lol

I was out in South America for the whole of last summer. Didn't go to Brazil but went to Peru, Chile, Bolivia and Argentina. Have to say i searched for DnB nights everywhere i went and the only place i found any was Buenos Aires (Arg) and Santiago (Chile). If you want me to find out the names of the places i went i can but dont know if you will have much luck anywhere you are wanting to go other than Brazil.
