Soundforge mp3 converter?

Just recently soundforge stopped letting me convert the audio files i had opened in it to mp3s. I dunno why but it says i need to register or something but i don't wanna have to pay big bucks or anything and it's not even like i bought it(just got a copy from a friend). I can't register it online cause it says it's an unknown serial number or something, but if i call in then i can get an activation code. Sounds a lot like something i can just get a "crack" to like when trying to install video games on your computer and not wanting to run them off the disc all the time. Does anyone know how i can go about acquiring the access code or overriding the bullshit?

the mp3 plugin in soundforge is a seperate entity - and must be "cracked" seperately!

as a side note - it's a really really bad idea to even attempt online registering when you're running a pirate copy. Most likely they logged your IP address and notified the ISP. As for telephoning them - you might as well ask them to send th FBI to your door!!!

when running pirate software, it's always the best idea to not let the app have any contact with the company whatsoever - this means setting your firewall to block any outgoing traffic from the app - or simply not being connected to the internet while the app is running.
