Hey guys,
I've always had this problem with my computer, it would only play to the left speaker (mono). I dont know if the sound card is just a really cheap one (this is an older PC) or there is some check box disabled somewhere that is playing mono.
I have an NvidiaR Nforce audio card, not sure which exactly. It's basically a POS from back in the day. I just dont get why its not playing stereo (never has). Shouldnt that be a standard feature?
On the back of the computer where the sound card is, there are 3 plug outlets for 1/8" out, top one, plays nothing, middle one plays mono, bottom one nothing.
Please help, I just got new monitors and I cant enjoy them properly.
