"Returning sharply to the dancefloor, Nottinghams Soul Intent graces Samurai Music with another 2 potent riddims. ‘Be Strong’ issues a very timely bit of advice in the vocal department while jagged breaks funk their way into a bass drop that Dillinja would be proud of. The defining feature of the tune however comes midway thru the main section with a rollicking bongo section. This tune seems to have an immortal life on the dancefloor with ‘classic’ written all over it.
‘Point Pleasant’ once again opens with Mr Judd’s unique reworking of a classic break before dropping into a deep bassline groove that seems to forge classic Full Cycle with some of Reinforced’s mid 90′s flava’s. Featured on the recent ‘Drum and Bass’ Anthems Mix Cd compiled by Hospital Records..
