One of the biggest clubs in East Anglia, the £1.25 million SUB ZERO has stunning décor, an incredible sound and lighting system, intimate sanctuary seating areas, and wheelchair access throughout. This super club, with a capacity of 1000 people, has had acts such as Chase & Status, Pendulum, Zane Lowe and Andy C.
The latest signing to Andy C’s Ram Records, MIND VORTEX exploded onto the scene with “Onslaught” featured on Andy C's "Nighlife 5" mix album and more recently "Hotbox" receiving support from the likes of Zane Lowe, Mistajam, Bailey, Crissy Criss, DJ Hype and Drumsound to name a few. Expect big things from these guys…..
With his unique and heavily hip-hop influenced style Colchester based MC J.O.K has performed on the local circuit for years, local fm radio, internet stations and also at some of the biggest events in the UK, His talents have also taken him abroad, with a complimentary mixture of hosting, double time lyricism and topical clear flow making him a real force to be reckoned with on the mic across all sub-genres of drum and bass.
Drinks at student prices on campus and in the venue!! Student Union bar open all day so come & enjoy a drink before the big event.
