something ive been working on today

i feel like the bassline needs to be lower down in the scale , i just picked up my guitar and g# for 8 steps, down to e for 4 steps and up to f# for 4 steps sounded good to me, try that :) yeah the movement on the bass sounds good but i reckon it should still have a soft limiter on it cause the volume is pretty up and down, sounds good so far though mate

safe, will try that.

what do you mean by steps? quarter of a bar?

Try sidechaining strings and bass, but play with decay time and tension so volume changes or something else like pitch, bands on eq etc..doesn't have abrupt changes..

Makes me think of people on horseback...westerns...that kind of thing. Needs spaghetti western samples imo.
