Celebrating their 30h anniversary this year as one of the UK’s
pioneering dub reggae sound systems; MIKEY DREAD and
mc RAS KAYLEB are touring the UK with original sound system

The story of Dub to Dubstep is many things to many people. If one locates it in the UK, we find a narrative spanning over forty years - since the first dub mixes reverberated through Jamaican living rooms nationwide. But the term 'dub' started else where in early film and TV production. Editors and engineers workig in film and TV were known as the 'dubbing mixers', and the end process or their mix is still known as the 'dub'.
''We built our first system with our hands. Them days it was double boxes, two speakers in one box, 18'' inchspeakers. sometimes we used to have quad boxes, seven foot tall with valve lamps and we used to play with Gerrard deck. Single deck, it took hard work, dedication and the power of Rastafari. Now it's all transistors, scoop bins and flare horns. My soundsystem is more authentic sounding, more authentic looking, Others have soundsystems built by the shop speakers, mine are built by hand.'' - Mikey Dread.
Channel Soundsystem vs Thunderidge Soundsystem
This is the first time EVER anyone has been aloud to bring a soundsystem into the End and its war....Expect big bass.
