some help with monitor speakers please

i honestly have no idea about which sound best or anything...i know there is probably 100 threads on this but i got about 150 to spend.

which would you recommend? or any other opinions?

With the Tascams the frequency response is 90 - 23Khz. Bit rubbish to be fair and with a 4 inch cone you aren't going to get a very good response. I expect this is somewhere the same with the Samson speakers and the Edirols.

The M-Audio Studiophiles look okay.... The frequency response is 56Hz-22kHz which is pretty good going to be honest!

I actually used to own a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 8.1s. Good pair of speakers to be honest. Can't really fault them.

I would either go for the Wharfedale Diamonds or the M-Audio Studiophile BX5A.
