I've been toying around with compressors, I think I fucked my breaks over but it's all good in the hood as I don't really expect to get anything perfect from the word go, init.

Kind of pleased with this even though I think it sounds a bit muddy, I've focused on tying together the drums and the bass more and chopping my breaks up in new ways so I haven't given the mixdown as much autistic attention as I'd like to.

some elements of the track are cool, especially the bass, drums are quite muddy tho, and taking away from the track quite drastically imo!
would like to hear a tightened up version

Need to take a look at that compression, I think I did that thing where you do everything wrong and end up destroying your sounds..

Glad you like the bass, I think making basslines is probably where I need the most practice, apart from mastering and shit like that.
