The Police - Message in a Bottle (Xerxes Dnb Remix)

heard this on the radio and it reminded me of what an cool riff it has. So threw the track into Ableton to see what I could conjure up. This is the result.

copy pasting drum patterns and subs on godlike tunes doesn't make it a remix! -
after all my rage, the feedback...
would have liked much more variation on these hi hats and all the drums... also a sub going more into the verses and making differences in the chill parts ("message in a bottle" - "sending out an SOS" parts)...
and LOUDER vocals, bring up the mids in the original i think.
Appart from that, it all sounds good.

Your mistaken my friend, and I don't hear any feedback if that's what you was thinking. It has been tweaked since your post mind.

Yeah I see what you mean, I'll put a pinch of mid on the vocals, but putting the bass over the vocals would destroy the flow, which sound ok to me nut thanks for the comments.

Appart from that, it all sounds good.

Thanks for the feed back, I listened to your hard to choose track, pretty good, I like the dirtiness to it, very retro and sharp.

Was not bad. But the drums need variation. bassline is way way too quiet. theres not build. just a drop.
