So how do I get to DJ at a Break Neck event....

I have Djing for about 5 years now I play the whole spectrum of Drum & Bass and I want to get into the Portsmouth scene how do I go about it, I have also been producing only on reason wired into Cubase Sx, can anyone suggest what I should do, who I should talk to - would I get accepted into the DnB community of portsmouth??
