remember flexed at the knees ( up n down movement at the correct time helps braking )

shoulders stay inline with the board - (goal keeper posture)

make sure your wieght stays over the frontfoot at all times during a turn

turn your head not your upperbody

rest your toes up inside your boots when ever your on your heel edge and when ever your on your toe edge try pushing down with your toes like your squahing a cig out ... ( this stop the oppisite edge catching )

be patient and be aware of other slope users ...

most of all be relaxed and have fun

    panty :)

I like that mawch better actually; it really brings out the greedy part of extreme sports which is why the pro riders aren't soul riders anymore.

sure does , LDA was full of wannabe sponcered dudes just bumming seasons to HUCK ,hopefully to get a buck ... dont get me wrong there was guys out there that stomped high level tricks , they didnt seem to have TUDE but it was the all the gear no idea types that fill snowparks up with street mindstates of gangs, bad language and in some cases robbing bags .... In the early 90's they were known as TRASHERS , but as the sport became a million dollar industry and snowboarding became something with sub cultures , you were no more judged to soul ride n just ride everything , your now judged as a jibber , a parkrider , a freerider ? , halfpipe rider , and your labelled accordinly ......

    shame but true

look where you wanna go. and don't get scared. if you are going near obstacles like trees, remember to look at the gap and not the obstacle!

    eeeeeer

praps 1 should rewind that statement ,... i could say skiing is a broken snowboard with poles as stablizers but hay i couldnt do that to you

hill politics has changed since the main stream influx of boarders to the hill in the early 90's when there was a narrow minded attitude of skiers towards boarders , but as we all know in this billion dollar industry attitudes have changed and people dont care what u slide on , both sports via technology have joined forces and infulanced each other so now season 2010-11 just around the corner its all about people enjoying the mountains whatever they choose rather than being an uneducated arrogent person ........

    anyway ...
