Smokescreen Records is upping the pressure with a tough new 12 from 3 artists who are really making a stir right now! Renegade hailing from Edinburgh has had a lot of Radio 1 & 1xtra coverage and plays from a lot of the big hitters in dnb, whilst Dominator is carving his name in the scene with his trademark sounds and aggressive productions. He has now taken newcomer Telekom under his wing and the pair are making some smashers!
On the A side, we have Renegade's track 'Fresh'. With a cheeky swing ragtime loop and no nonsense drums the intro is some what deceiving but when a familiar vocal sample drops a tough baseline takes control of the track and rips through your speakers! On the B side we have Dominator & Flat T's infectious roller 'Emotions'. The track starts off with a gloomy drone and stuttered percussion which builds up to a climax and a haunting vocal sample. The bass drops with a catchy hook and rumbling subs, harsh sharp sounds and a creepy atmosphere!
