July Podcasts

The Stash Vol. 3--For our 3rd "Stash" series, we feature a radio mix from Smith and Mighty. From Bristol, England, Smith and Mighty were influential in the trip-hop scene in the early 90's. They have 7 albums to their credit, most of which are on K7 records. This Reggae/trip-hop/early dubstep radio mix was sent to college radio stations in 2002 to promote the "Life Is" albums. Even though the album was sent with no tracklistig, there are 3 songs from that album on this mix: "Life has a Way," "B Line Fi Blow," and "I Saw You."

For more info, go to K7 Records, or Smith and Mighty's MySpace

Debut Series Vol. 14--We last heard from Osmose in August 2008, with "Smoker's Lounge Vol. 1." Now he's back with his second edition. Osmose is based in Atlanta and is well known for his reggae sets.
