small hole - too tight...... giggity

    Hi,
    What to do when a record is super tight on the spindle?
    safe way to enlarge the hole? giggigity
    seriusly have got a some vinyl that is a real bugger to get on or off.
    what can i do that wont fook up the record?

    Screwdriver or key, put it in the hole and twist. Try the record again. If its still to tight do another twist with the key or diver. Repeat until record fits snug.

    I use as craft knife/scalpel like this:

    just rotated gently around the centre takes off a tiny neat scraping. I might try scissors though, that's a great idea

    Usually just twist a Biro in there and it widens it out just enough.

    Also if you want to tighten the hole (giggity) then get a small strip of sellotape or similar, put it through the hole and stick it down on each side. Repeat if needed.

    Use sandpaper rolled up tight and run it through the spindle hole couple times. Job done
