Take a blow torch or a lighter strapped to a deodrant can and burn all the ice away.

Take some warm water in a bottle and tip it over the ice so it melts.

Its that time of year when I take a risk and share the carriageway with motor vehicles. I find it helps to keep my fingers crossed.

Get a job gritting the walkways & roads, not a shitty job, you're providing a service to both yourself & the public, its seasonal, so you can work 4-6 months of the year & play xbox the rest...

find the fattest person you can.

    follow them.

if they fall two things occur.
    1) you know where its iciest, and where to avoid
    2) untold lols/win

Nobody has 4-6 months worth of grit. We usually end up having to beg foreigners for some...

what you do is walk like you've been bummed. you get alot of men whistling at you but it saves the ultimate embarrassment of decking it.
