Yeah they had something about this before Avatar. It's going to be expensive and will mean having to buy a stroboscopic TV. Even when the TV's are released I think the largest size available will only be a 32".
This is the reason why they are practically giving away free HD sky boxes.

    Very good.

Bity slow to start, but yeah, really liked it man, was hoping for it to be a bit darker... But Depp was genius in it as expected.

Also, the March Hare is one of the funniest things i've seen for time.

"Spoon!" For those that have seen it!!! :D

Well worth it in 3D too, some parts are as visually stunning as Avatar, especially with the Cheshire Cat.

I thought it would work on a normal TV with those silly glasses? i swear all they do is slightly overlay the picture, and give each lens a different polarisation, so that you see in stereo/3d? don't see why you need a new TV for that? seems like a crock of shit buying one of them TVs

    42 inch 3D TV $20,000!

The Chinese manufacturer TCL has developed a 42-inch LCD 3D TV called the TD-42F, which is currently available in China. This model uses a lenticular system and does not require any special glasses. It currently sells for approximately $20,000.

how long will it be until pc screens are like this? expect you will be able to get cameras soon which are capable of taking pics in 3d. When will we be getting a virtual world?

    Woah...

Hopefully with the whole hype with the new T.V's & Cinema technology, it will push the developers of the bigger titles to start bringing them to existing platforms.

Does that shit run on a PS3/360? Or just PC...

Would imagine they would need a new console to run the technology... Dunno though...

Yeah its PC only at the moment. You need a dedicated 3D graphics card, the monitor and specs.
