really dont know how it will work

only thing i can think of to show dj talent would be turntablism
a five minute mix on serato doesnt show talent so how the fuck will they judge it
probly be who can cram in the most tiesticle and david gayta tunes in a minute

Some dubstep prick will win it. Either that or some trance dj who plays tunes which the audience dont realise is usually played to thousands of spangled kids but they love it.

i mean u cant really gauge how good of a dj you are from a tiny little mix
and if its a tv show u cant exactly have people doing 15 min + mixes to show how good they are

Now I see! Somehow I doubt he's trying to muscle in on the whole DMC thing...

I bet he's on the hunt for another gay, plastic, well varnished house dj type thing. Fake italian name ftw.

Well they'll be 'mixing' pre-recorded stuff so it'll probably be judged on arm waving and looks to camera and that...

To be fair most of the people who get far in xfactor are actually pretty good singers, they may end up singing some shit pop songs once they win etc... But they can sing. So I think realisticly the djs who make it through to this show are going to be good.

I'm interested to see what it ends up like, may well be shit but it will probably beat most other shite tv

as a long time sufferer of GFs who love that shit... scooty is correct. however, most people enjoy the delusional people at the start, how this will translate to DJs can only be lols imo

ITV actually did a series like this a few years ago, not on the grand scale of x-factor etc, they had mentors aswell, the likes of our very own Roni Size, Tom Middleton Sister Bliss and someone I forgotten the name of, was late night schedule so it was rather shit, the guy under the wing of Roni Size wanted to MC whilst Dj'ing like a clone of LTJ Bukem & Conrad rolled up into one person, I shit-you-not
