These 2 tracks from Unknown Error are really something.

Largely a producer of dark DnB, here and to a lesser extent with "The Yearning" they manage to fit the delicacy of liquid, the pace of jump up and the rumble of neuro together beautifully, along with some synth and violin here and there. The flow is also top notch.

Some may call these repetitive or strung-out but honestly ive never tired of them in all the years ive had them.

Also the perfect driving tracks, imo:

Its such a shame they/he didnt produce more like this. I never did find anything quite like em.

If you no of any others with this unique style i would welcome a reply.

Unknown Error is basically Apex. So obviously anything by Apex would be something I guess.

As well Concord Dawn, State Of Mind probably Trei, Dose? Lot's of NZ guys do similar stuff. The Hungarian guys like SKC or Chris Su?

    Maybe that helps :-/

Thanks for replying. The tunes posted are decent, "by the way" is a very decent tune, but theyre all too dark.

Listen to Struggle. The whole thing. Theres just something about the progression and the mixture of violin, piano, drum beats, bass etc..

Idk, i just really like the song i guess.

Really hard to find tracks which are similiar to Apex's. He has/had an unique style. Asked Jim of Unknown Error, what he is up to and if he still produces dnb back in October 2012. He said, he's sure he will resurface at some point. Last release was the Omega Point EP on Katakis in March 2012.

Hope he releases some new tracks in the future...

    Maybe you should check LM1?
Not especially dark, but regarding to Apex's soundscape LM1 has also a wide and open one.

    Edit:

You could also check tracks from Future Engineers.

Thanks for this. Relaxing music, havent heard of LM1 before. Future Engineers i know for their spacey chilled vibe.. LM1 sounds similar from what you posted.
