Shoot-The-Freak is back on 2nd July for another night of big-beat’s and even bigger basslines! After the success of the last night this next one promises to be bigger and badder in every way. With the usual local talent mixing it up in the 2nd room playing Dubstep, Old School and Jungle, and with Drum-n-Bass big-dogs TAXMAN & HARRY SHOTTA in the 1st, this night is going to be BIG!

They say nothing in life is certain but death and taxes, but Taxman’s success seemed just as certain from the outset. If you’ve been anywhere near a drum & bass dancefloor in the past couple of years then you know this man’s productions, and you’ll have been throwing your arms up and calling for DJs to reload his tracks on more than one occasion!
HARRY SHOTTA (UNCZ)
If success is rewarded by hunger and hard work then it will come as no surprise that Harry Shotta is now recognized as one of the most gifted and versatile MC’s in the UK. An invitation from life long friend MC Funsta to join him on the Drum N Bass stage at the Notting Hill Carnival led to a whole batch of DNB P.A’s and radio appearances.
As an MC who has paid his dues in the world of Hip Hop Harry Shotta had been working on tracks with Skibadee, one of which became the’1xtra record of the week’. With his skills in double time flows it was a natural progression to flex these skills in the Drum N Bass arena. The rapid rise of Harry Shotta in the Drum N Bass scene saw him being nominated as best breakthrough MC at this years DNB Awards in the space of three months.
