Cut down on drink n drugs or at least understand what drugs work for you, sure Pink Floyd would probably never have gotten far without them but chances are you aren't that prolific.
Learn the basics in music theory, I never until last year. now so much more makes sense. Just the basics, no need to go nuts teaching yourself piano every morning just the rules.

It feels like im new to producing, it's been about a year haha ... but it's hard. I struggle with all the jargon to figure the fuck out what anyone means. Can anyone recommend a good book or you tube channel that will take me from reasonable basics? I've heard Noiselab is great, that true?

Honestly, when I first started out, Idiot's Guide to Mixing Music was useful as a reference book. If you're a year in you may find a lot of it too basic though..
