INFO TEXT:

.shadybrain has been around for more than two years now. In this time we have released more than 40 tunes from a large pool of international artists including Phace, Pyro,Misanthrop, N.Phect & Dizplay, Bad Robot, Dementia, Robot Death Squad, Stare, Nocturnal, Catacomb, Milo, Polarity, and many more.
We would like to thank all our artists for their support, creativity, and faith, which has made shadybrain what it is today! Our mission has always been to be at the forefront of the MP3 movement and we will continue to walk this way in the future. The end of 2006 sees us enter new territory. I am glad to announce that from this point forward, shadybrain will also be releasing music on the scene`s traditional medium, vinyl. The first release will be rolling very, very soon and as soon as we have exact dates for the promo and the full release dates we`ll let you know.

The first release is gonna be:

- SHADYBRAIN 001 -

A - Catacomb - Buried Alive (Misanthrop RMX)
Misanthrop is one of the scene’s most promising producers and is sure to gain much attention with releases on Teebee`s Subtitles and Mayhem`s Shadow Law. In this tune, a simplistic intro gives way to a devastating drop that takes no prisoners. The tension continues to build as the heavy reece and epic stab call back and forth, taking the tune far further than just the drop. The man of the hour delivers another perfect example of dance floor terror that will punish any venue.

AA - Misanthrop - Strange Planet (Catacomb RMX)
Canada`s finest Catacomb has been heard previously on labels such as Darkitek and Citrus. With this Remix they have taken their work to another level. Angelic pads and soft textures mislead you through the intro until the vocal hook drops and a wall of sound smashes through the midrange with crisp drums. The track progresses into a halftime second break down, showing why Catacomb are to be watched closely.
