How it was recorded, mixed, compressed... what kind of drums was used? Does anybody know?

IMO the sound is the most original live drumming sound ever.

^ It's also called 'helicopter break'. Might has something to do with Deep Blue - The Helicopter Tune using it...

Also known as "Helicopter" break after "The Helicopter Tune" by Deep Blue, which is the common second-hand source of the reconstructed sample.[10]

Apparently the Helicopter has some extra high hats and cymbals and is a better source to sample it from. As per my understanding anyway.
