you know when you load a sample to chop it up and it comes up with two rows wave forms? not sure if i'm explaining it properly. i just want to know if there is anywhere or any package that can seperate the two. can it even be done?

you mean the left and right channel???...

you can merge it into mono....but i dont think youd achieve much...

im pretty sure you can fuck around with them independently in soundforge tho...

    Yea man,

    Sound forge, or ableton.

Or you could get this program:

    Melodyne
    http://www.celemony.com/cms/index.php?id=products_studio&L=0

This program will take a sample and break it down to individual midi hits in full notation and expression. Do some research and you will realize this program really is black magic.

clone it then assign each to a mixer channel and pan each one left or right.
