    yea they look ridiculous, the beauty of 25's is they look sleek on your head and are simple, I think big cans on dj's look so silly

    Not sure I really understand the point of having expensive hd headphones for mixing! Just seems a bit of a waste IMO

    They're not going to discontinue the HD-25's are they?

    They do look bigger, but not too big in my opinion. Quite nice looking even. Plus I love the over ear headphones, the HD-25's on-ear design has always put me off.

    I doubt they'll discontinue the HD-25. It still sells well as far as I can tell, and it's like a classic for Sennheiser.

    no way they will discontinue the hd 25s, personally prefer over ears as well but dont mind my hd 25s for mixing, uncomfortable for long periods when using 2 cups but thats a rarity. Might pick a pair up if I can find the spare cash, sennheiser claims there an improvement over the 25s, guess it isnt really relative if your playing out with good monitors anyway.
