if you need the cash that badly, but don't really want to get rid of them. Record them, and sell them anyway...

just don't tell the authorities...shhhhhhhhhhhh.

I kinda wish i did to be honest. Found a few old recordings of me learning to DJ when i was like 12/13.... the only thing i could find to play them was an old walkman. Put one tape in... and within seconds it was demolished and chewed to fuck. hahaha... i miss the good old days.

Fixing chewed tapes with pencils was a big look.
those where thr days... that and using celotape to rescue the otherwise dead torn tape. Oh... and putting celotape over those little bits at the bottom of the tape of bought cassettes so you could record over them... WIN!

my fondest memory was recording over my mums Cliff Richard tape with an early Rocksteady (then Skeptik) clanged out dnb mix.... then putting it back in my mums collection!! YEAH BWOI!

Oh man Tapepacks were the shit, overly padded aswell like a musical puffer jacket, de-fluffing the buffers on the tapedeck was always a pleasure never a chore

The only time i would sell a tape pack is if it came out as a cd pack for example i sold my hysteria 20 tape pack and replaced it with the cd pack

Its annoying to have so many good mixtapes but no tape player in the car. The main place to listen. grr...but then pirate radio alo used to be a big look now the kids don't care cos they can log on to any top dj any time. Back in the day only source of good dance music was pirate.
