    hi guyz.

    im lookin for a sampler to get off ebay. nuthin special but sumthin that will get the job done.

    i was lookin at AKAI S900 Sampler which is on there for a very cheap price.
    but the sampling time and harddrive space and CPU isnt very large.

    also things like the sx3000. comes with zip drive and stuff.

    just wunderin what u lot would advise? what do u think of EMU aswell?

    what sort of things are good for making breakbeats and dnb?

    i like the old skool feel so mabey sumthin like the S900 might be ok.... dunno help me out guyz

    Look for one thats easy to upgrade, most samplers can facilitate extra RAM and are also compatable with SCSI storage devices... and SCSI CD-ROM drive wont cost you toooo much these days (still lots more then an IDE one).

    In your ebay listing look for stuff like "64mb RAM - upgradable to 512"..... etc

    As for which is best for dnb.... the z-plane filters on EMU samplers are supposed to be very good :bone:
