sample packs? loopmasters?

Was wondering what people's opinions of sample packs are? Contemplating getting something off loop masters - maybe shogun audio. ANyone used these? are they decent? not that fussed about the loops but more the sounds.

Remember though, you can't polish a turd. (You can't turn a bad sample into a good one.)
