Sample - om unit, the prodigy, optical, praga khan

Hey guys,

a week ago I've heard chase and status' essential mix live from creamfileds with bunch of their new tunes.

In one of them, called All Crew, they use a classic sample which I really adore (you can check it on bbc player).

The sound/sample I am talking about you can hear for example at the begenning of Om Unit's Healing Rain

It is used in the Prodigy's Rythm of life, or in Warrior's dance

Optical used it as well here

My older friend who is into rave told me that originally it comes from Praga Khan's Injected with a poison

Now, my question is if Praga Khan made this sound, or is it sampled from something else?

Any ideas?

okay, nevermind, I already found it, it is Iggy Pop from 1979 hehehe

and there is a Westbam's tune from 1988 using this sample, so I guess he was the first one to use it, Praga Khan's tune is from 1991.

Why dose it feel so good to hear looped Iggy's monkey impression?
