just need general feedback, thoughts on the mix, any ideas you wanna throw my way, etc etc....i think this is the best tune i've made so far by quite a long way, so it might be one of the first tunes i actually bother to finish.

You should bother to finish. What distracted me was mainly the sound. There could be milions of topics about how to achieve the perfect sound but let`s leave this for a moment. Simple thing - low-pass the bass more (at least the "pure-reese" sound). +make the beat (+overall sound should use more bass in my opinion) fatter (search for "sidechain" tutorials to get the kick pumping out of the bass). Keep up the good work!
