Hello AWESOME PEOPLE.
My name is Kirill Korshunov and I am an electronic music producer doing stuff in different genres. I literally experiment with all music genres may be except heavy metal in fact I might sample it and put through numerous filers and effects to create a wobbly bassline or some other insane thing. My goal is mainly live performance which means that I create the tunes on air not just like other DJs. I'm really enjoying this sort of integration of live music and production techniques which gives a lot of ideas and freedom to improvise. I personally been playing piano for 11 years and my favourite music genre is jazz therefore i love the feeling of improvisation when it comes into electronic music. I perform with ableton and 4 midi controllers. The custom mapping and templates I developed give me the freedom and insanity. In addition i have a lot of samples and loops which I bind to my custom programmed drum machine in my novation launchpad usermode and put effects on those to create a nice groove. I would also like to point out a weird thing about me. Its basically the fact that I love chavs and their culture which i find extremely unique and which you wont find anywhere in the world but the suburbs of the UK. Therefore, there are some donk/bounce things going on in my head sometimes. My dream is to have a funky ford transit with powered speakers inside, uv, sofas, dj decks; paint it as zebra style and make the bumpers like burberry styled plates.
I would love you guys to give me any feedback regarding my music. I can also share my ableton templates/controller mappings.
My latest D&B tunes is a remix which i dedicated to the sweetest girl in the world I think I'm falling in love with. That was the first tune I played to her on my melodica which i take with me everywhere to play gypsy music. (its like a portable piano, google it). Her name is Emilie and i thought (with my creip english) that thats name was just the same as Amelie (the main character of the French movie). i totally ignored the history between france and the great britain cuz my mind was out of control. Anyway, this tune was symbolic for both of us and after 1 year of knowing her i finally made this remix (i knw that dnb is not the best genre to compose for the girl but I find r&B and similar shit to be pretty gay ). The last thing i wanna say that music is the art and we all have to express our human internal world and culture with it whether its drum n bass or heavy metal.
