A new year... 2011... And as we move into our 10th year in the business, we welcome a new dawn, and a new home for all our Ruf Cut ravers – Club Chic! This time around less is definitely more, as were only delivering two helpings of drum n bass delights this annual but making sure they are both jam packed with flavour. Alongside the biggest bill toppers as always complimented by show stopping support, expect no expense spared in t...he very best of sound and light production, were promising you a show that has to be seen to be believed.

::: MAJISTRATE :::

Residing from the Gravesend area of Kent, Majistrate,who cites Jeff Mills, Grooverider, Joey Beltram and Dillinja as his musical influences, has been DJ'ing since 1990, but always kept low key within the industry. After meeting Daz of Cyndicut FM back in 1993, the passion for the music grew stronger and he soon decided to produce for Daz's new found label Splash. This brought about his first release in 1994.
After various releases on Splash, he began to produce tracks for a wider variety of labels including Interlective (DJ Trace's label), East Side, Brain and Juice.
The producing progressed the DJ side and he gained regular slots throughout the UK and on the radio.
At present Majistrate stands as one of the true leaders of the new skool generation and is carving out a massive name for himself, performing as the frontline DJ for the legendary Nu Breed Cru. He is also one of the most active producers in the game, pushing the jump up/wobble sound whilst recently bringing us the much sought after tracks Car Jackin, Spiral, Plank Bass, State of Shock, Our Quest, Step Up, IT and the first release on his very own Sweet Tooth record label - Rise / Bug Crusher.

Majistrate currently has a weekly slot on internet radio station on Cyndicate FM alongside Evil B on Sundays from 8-10pm.


::: EVIL B :::

Evil B returned in 2006 to the scene where he first made a name for himself in jungle music in 1996. Back in his earlier raving days, Evil appeared at some of the most prestigious jungle events of the era ranging from his residency at Desire, DLB (at the infamous London East End institution Labyrinth), Prophecy, Ministry of Sound, One Nation and Innovation.

His versatile style, switching and changing from faster techniques to slower, deeper hip hop and rap flows, and his ability to incorporate both elements of ragga and reggae into his sets, has cemented Evil as an MC of flexibility and enormous talent. He claimed the 'Best MC' award no less than 4 times in his 7 year absence while he toppled the UK Garage scene. However he knew that this would not mean immediate success in the fiercely competitive world of drum and bass MC’s. After only just one show with close friend and DJ, Majistrate, on the legendary (and now highly regarded) Kool FM, Evil was overwhelmed by the response from both new and loyal old fans alike. This gave him a renewed focus and concentration to start writing and producing new lyrics and rhymes. Since then Evil has gone from strength to strength representing for the likes of Drum&Bass Arena, Breakin Science and Raveology as well as making a guest appearance in the only set to date that the massive Nu Breed Family appeared in their entirety - where they all performed together live on stage, undoubtedly a historical moment in the making.
