RoTaToR - Odyssey Machine (Liquid Tech DNB)

Hey all, started a new venture with a friend under the name RoTaToR. So far its been super fun! Myself all dnb, dub, bass, etc and him all breaks tech house, electro, etc. So the ideas are all over the place. Ill post other work shortly, but this is the newest Drum & Bass tune.
Liquid sounds and techy vibe with a nice bassline to push all! Still a work in progress and not yet mastered. Some feedback would be great!

I think the progression is nice but the main repeating synth could do with some subtle changes, automate some kind of filter cutoff or whatever. Since the first drop just kind of rolls along a mini-breakdown after something like 16 bars would be nice to change it up a bit. Not feeling the b-line and the drums sound a little weak, not a bad tune overall but it definitely needs work and a little attention to details to make it more memorable, could do with a lot more "art pauses" is what we cal them in Norwegian; where everything goes quiet and then comes back again - exploit that little vocal sample for what it's worth. Second drop could introduce some kind of change or new element, there could be a lot more happening with the drums - switch up the snare, add some bongos or shakers, write some interesting hihat patterns or whatever, make sure there's stuff going on on different levels of the tune at a time.
