Rockit RP5 or RP6

Gonna get some new monitors from DJ Finance Direct and was wondering...

Are the RP5's powerful enough or should I go for the RP6 for an extra tenner a month?

Will be used for mixing and eventually producing

i've got the rp5's they are well loud for producing but when mixing could be a little louder they've been pushed to the limit a couple of times lol but i haven't had a go on the rp6's yet not even sure how much louder they are...

Wicked speakers though whatever ones you go for you'll be happy with em

Deffo get the 6's man, gives a lot better bottom end imo and the speakers will last longer

I'm gonna recommend the 6's, as I own the 5's and sometimes I wish they were louder

I've also heard the sub that goes can make a Big difference

Quality. Think i'll go with the RP6's though I have alot of gear on my want list!!!

6's have better range and better low end. Unless you plan on getting a sub right quick, get the 6

No I don't have the krk sub, I just have a sun from my home theatre hooked up, it definetly
helps but I've heard the krk sub packs a nice punch

Without the sub. My missus can feel the bass from them in our living room at the front of our house and the speakers are in my brick shed in the garden. Big bass.
