Gwar is one of the most under-rated metal bands of all time. Their songs are brilliantly composed.

They are cult fucking legends but looking at that wiki page, their record sales was line 3500 units per album? that don't make no fucking sense. although come to think of it, I never did hear their music. not once. only thing I ever seen from them is when the front man did that interview with space ghost. least I think that was him

You need to have a open mind, in terms of GWAR, man. Their songs are a mixture of punk rock, hardcore and thrash metal, all blended with dark humor lyrics. If I'd say some songs to you know them, those would be:

Saddam a go-go (from the album "This Toilet Earth")
Gor-Gor (from the album "America must be Destroyed")
Sick of You (from the album "Scumdogs of the Universe")
The Private Pain of Techno Destructo (from the album "Carnival of Chaos")
Back to Iraq (from the album "Carnival of Chaos")

from there, I confess I haven't heard much of their newest albums, as my musical taste changed a little towards electronic music. Still, they remain as a comical relief for me.
