Hello people,

(Sorry if this is not the right section, I don't use the forum often) :bone:

Anyway here's my entry to the Ram Records competition mix. Even though initially is judged on likes / shares, mixing capability is still a bit part of it so am intrested to see what you guys think. A bit different from a mix I normally do but was really trying to invisage warming up an event so trimmed the amount of tunes / style accordingly ect. Anyway any feedback on here or Mixcloud would be appreciated :)

I've not been a buyer of music on Ram for a good few years now. Is this what's making me think this is quite heavy for a warm up set?

To be fair looking at mixcloud there are a few mixes that are full of bangers (exactly what isn't wanted)!

This as a warm up set to me is ridiculous!
 
I guess everyones opinion differs so its a hard one. I think it's a fine act to balance of just playing 12 or so tunes for your entry and maybe no one really liking it compared to other entries meaning possiblity no good feedback for your mix or creating an amazing mix getting a good responce but not really suited for the warm up slot. But this is for the judges to decide so who knows haha. Give it a go anyway :)
 
It's a difficult one I suppose! That one above that I linked is definitely a middle of the night kind of set. A warm up for me would be full of Calibre, Synkro, ASC etc but that's because I'm into the deeper stuff.

I might have a dabble just to see what kind of response it gets?!

Good mix that anyway mate!
 
Thanks. Do it! I would very much be intrested to see your style for this kinda thing. Best way to speak about a topic like this is with a mix.
