Ok heres yet another repost of a set I originally posted on DOA. This set got mild to downright negative reviews on that message board. Not because the mixing or tune selection was bad (its my best so far), rather because of an unreleased Stratus track that I scored on Audio Galaxy when it was around at the time. In the process I found Mr. Stratus isn't the swell guy I thought he was (only dieselboy is allowed to have this track) and DOA is not the place to be. On the bright side this mix features the first full on chipmonk tune there has been in past 9 years! Also the title was inspired by the crap sound stage MTV set up in my neighboring town this past summer. I thought of chucking copies of this tape over by their trailers at the "wacky world of wicker" but I deamed it not worth my time.

Obviously a brilliant set. Listening to it again today admist various work tasks, this thing really rolls in the right direction.

i remember this mix from when u posted it on DOA ages ago. back then i wasnt really feeling those sorta styles, but my tastes have matured a bit since then and im sure ill be able to appreciate it a lot more! will give some feedback once i dwnload it and give it a proper listen!

freeagent, can you tell me which song that actually is, as it's one of me favourites too. i downloaded the set when it was first posted ages ago and so i've caned it loads.

I'm not Alex but I can answer. The tune hes quoting the sample of is Subnation "Scottie (Coolbreeze remix)" (Labello Blanco 37). Its a late 90s remix of the popular 1993 'ardkore track. Also if you were interested the samples come from the cult classic film "Evil Dead". Glad you enjoy the mix. - 1992
