A culmination of debut artists and fresh collaboration pairings. The start of a something new. This is Inception. A new EP brought to you by the forward thinking minds of Renegade Hardware. A combination of styles varying from brooding menace to rolling tech, the Inception EP delivers a heavy concussive blow to the cranium of normality.
Leading the charge Optiv teams up with BTK, two well established solo artists joining forces to wreak a new havoc. The newly established pairing already have forthcoming releases on the likes of Subtitles, Virus and Dispatch recordings. For their track Inception, they bring a nu skool twist on the classic tech-step sound. A heavy synth led stepper.
On the B side we debut a relatively new artist who has been quickly rising through the dnb ranks to stand shoulder to shoulder with the scenes finest. Hybris (formerly of Robot Death Squad) has recently released his debut EP on Noisia’s Invisible label. Continuing his run of high profile debuts, we present the deep, brooding vibes of The Guy.
Side C gives yet more diversity, Hardware regular EBK teams up with the men of the moment Octane & DLR for a classy excursion into bass manipulation known as Mainframe. Prepare to enter the Mind state.
Rounding off the package, more new blood is drawn into the fold. Amoss come correct, quickly establishing themselves as ones to watch this year. No nonsense rolling dance floor dnb is the order of the day, effortlessly executed with precision.
