removing excess noise from drums?

    I seen a video of chase & status where they zoom rite in to the wave in audio of ther snares n cut out ne excess noise, can ne 1 tell me wot program can be used to do this n how?im using reason

    they dont cut out excess noise... they zoom in to to position the marker right so the beats start at exactly the right time

    like marlztar said they zoom into the audio to get the breaks all time with eachother
    i think your on about eqing the freqeuencys properly so that the different hits dont clash i.e high mids n lows
    watch the vids again they do explain the process properly
    and they were using cubase at the time
