Big ups to everyone who has helped the night grow so significantly! For this event we have something exceptional for you all! First of all, we listened to your demands and this event will be held at Sound Control in their soon-to-be refurbished Basement! The sound system will blow you away, so we have brought to you 3 absolute HEAVYWEIGHTS in the game to tear the place down! Dark and dirty D&B don TECHNICAL ITCH will be bringing a weighty 90 minute set, Breakcore legend and Relapse favourite THE TEKNOIST will be dropping a very rare 3 deck set and the Amen hero that is EQUINOX will be bringing a unique past-to-present set!!!
As well as this there is a monster array of sets from the North West's finest D&B and Jungle DJ's. Expect nothing but the freshest in D&B(!), Jungle, Breakcore, Future Beats + Dubstep from start to finish! RELAPSE is calling All Junglists to get down for what is sure to be memorable birthday bash!

TECHNICAL ITCH : Undoubtedly one of the biggest names in dark and dirty D&B! RELAPSE is very proud to have such an iconic artist grace the decks for 90 minutes! Having started making beats in 1991, this man is now regarded as an electronic music pioneer by all who know of his abilities and repertoire. Not just content with releasing records and playing worldwide, Tech Itch now runs Tech Itch Recordings that is a highly respected label known for releasing filthy slams of amen-heavy goodness! If you have never seen this man DJ before, then you need to rectify this! It has been 5 years since he has played Manchester and he is itching to get back to tear the place apart!
THE TEKNOIST : RELAPSE welcomes back The Teknoist for a very special 3-deck set! The gloves are well and truly off and this one is going to pack the punch of punches!!! The Teknoist is known for his energetic sets and his versatility with genre-fusing, so expect everything from Breakcore, DNB, Dubstep + anything that is twisted enough to feature! Whilst he's not been playing Australia, Japan and all over Europe, he's been hitting the studio hard, so expect some exclusive dubs that might never have burst through a sound system before! Relapse majorly respects this hard working artist and welcomes him back with open arms, this one will be BIG!
EQUINOX : Undisputed hero in the underground of Drum N Bass, Equinox has pioneered and continues to pioneer the forward thinking Amen apparent D&B that has made him such an underground star. RELAPSE is once again very proud to have such a veteran in the game touch down on the 1's and 2's. For those that do not know, this man has been releasing records for 20 years in 2013 and is one of the most respected artists in underground music. He runs Scientific Wax with Breakage and together they release music that they both believe in and want to push forward. For RELAPSE, he is going to drop a very special 1993-2013 past-to-present set, showcasing the finest music then all the way up to the finest music now!
SUB:CONSCIOUS : RELAPSE head honcho Sub:Conscious is known for his energetic and enthusiastic Drum + Bass sets. From Tech to Liquid to Dancefloor and most places in-between, this man is known for keeping a crowd happy and on their toes. If you have been to previous RELAPSE events, you will have seen the progression on the decks that has been made by this artist who is now ready to showcase some of his own songs on the night. His productions are variants of tech and minimal and S:C is definitely one to watch out for in 2013!
BANE B2B NANNY BANTON : Two of Manchester's finest Jungle DJ's are placed head to head for their first back-to-back appearances at RELAPSE! Bane is the Eastern Bloc D&B don and Nanny is the Bad Man Ting bad man and they have both been DJ'ing for a very long time! On their own these two rip it up on the decks with a destructive force and presence, together we can only imagine what kind of Dubplate delight special they will bring! Both highly respected in Manchester and around the North West, if you know what's good for you, you will not want to miss this set!
MEECHA : Meecha is known for tearing up raves in Wigan, Preston, Liverpool and the whole of the NW and is known for his intelligent tune selection and mixing ability. Definitely one for the heads, Meecha has established himself as one of the premier D&B DJ's in and around the North West. Not stopping at this, this man also produces some creative, weighty songs veering towards the tech side of D&B. Meecha is definitely a DJ's DJ, check his set and you'll see why!
SKILLIN : Known for his jungle mash-up skills, RELAPSE could not wait any longer to have Skillin down to play! As well as destroying raves and bringing Amen madness wherever he roams, he also helps promote Jungle Syndicate for the Manchester area, which is testament to his ability on the decks and his attitude. Still being relatively young, this DJ is making the rights moves to progress far within the scene!
SEMIOTIX : This man has been contributing towards the evolution of RELAPSE as a night since day one and he cannot wait to roll out his unique style of double drop minimal monsters for everyone on the night. As a DJ this man has come a long way in a short period of time and his tune selection and knowledge is of a high standard. As well as DJ'ing, Semiotix knows how to craft a tune and you should definitely watch out for some releases in 2013! Get down early to make sure you do not miss this set!
