Chateauneuf du Pape ... standard , just really like it.. usually get it for about 8 quid.. but sometimes find it cheaper.

brought back loads from france ... when i went all we did was go on a mission to find the best red for under a fiver ..

in france this can be done and you find fuckin real nice wines, but used to pour a fair share down the sink aswell..

on the cheap probs jacobs creek cab sav or somethin..

wolf blass yellow lable is good ..

they recently have had it on offer in morrisons if you like it.tink the offer is still on.. i got a couple bottles for my aunty for crimbo.. easy presents.

but if i just stick to wine im fine the next day.

i actually only just realised you linked to the du Pape ... great minds and all that..

my aunty enlightened me to it a few years back drinking a shed load of the stuff i usually buy her a bottle or two to get in the good books.

When you buy a bottle of wine about £2 of it is for duty and VAT, not leaving much for whats in the bottle so it's always worth spending a couple quid more as you'll get a much better wine.

Did training but my wine memory is poor! Normally go for half price offers in sainsburys, you can find some really good ones

erm .... this make no sense ...

    nonsense ..

unless your views on 'body' is different to mine .. i think body as in complexity , different full flavours coming through, the feeling, the warmth, the texture , everything adding to that final appreciation after a mouthful

in these terms red wine wins on body .. or maybe some other fit bird i dont kno yet..

i do drink ale aswell.. and understand the different flavours and enjoy an ale , altho the after taste after a fair few pints gets abit shitty.

couple with vodka and you end up in a state.

Honestly can't say i pick one ahead of offers, i usually go for beers, but if wine is on offer i'll buy some.

    hobgoblin is good ale mind

i like the classics really .. some dark some not...

all depends on the pub awell and how often they are being pulled thru the line and the length of the line .. wetherspoons are usually good for their ales as you get alot of older men in there drinking it , so it doesnt just sit in the lines for 6 hours wating to be pulled. its constant so keep a flow.. and the lines need to be cleaned propperly... beer can taste mank so easily..

    i like

    landlord
    batemans xxxb
    london pride
    hsb
    duchars
    abbots
    tanglefoot
    discovery - lighter beer

basically most of marstons and fullers .. my step dad got me onto the Shepheards brewery beers - spitfire, bishops ect

theres thousands.. luckily in hampshire theres a close local brewery, so theres always guest ales on in the pubs round here..they have random names like badgers bollocks and stuff..

i try loads of diff ones some nice , some not

like lager aswell and spirits.. fuck ill drink anything

    This is the real shit.

I fucking love PROPER Chianti too, some terrible stuff on the market for around the £6-8 mark though, just spend that extra couple of quid & its the difference between Turps & Champagne.
