Recycle problem with changing bpm please help !!!

hello ive got a sample from the vengance sample pack and im loading it into recycle so i can boost the bpm from its original bpm to 174 but when i load it into recycle everything apart from the sensitivity slider is not avalable to use. so i cannot adjust anything to do with pitch bpm ot any other timing functions ??

being honest this is basically my fisrt time opening this program any help appreciated im taring my hair out , sound.
 
the slider and options will not become available until you tell recycle how many bars the sample goes on for. Once you've put how many bars in there, it will tell you the bpm and all the options become available.
