ReCycle? anyone use it?

got given a copy and told to put all my samples through it before programming, but i can't honestly see what it does that i can't just do in fruity. am i missing something? is it as good as my mate says?

I've only used it a couple of times man, just to put a sample into it and split it into slices then export it as a Rex (.rx2) file to use in Reason. Are you using Reason or Fruity? It's quite handy to use with Reason but I ain't used Fruity man. I don't really know Fruity and what it could be used for with that though.
