Records: to sort or not to sort?

Mine goes works its way from light to dark.

Seems to work fine, but i'm slack with labelling wihte labels and its caught me out once or twice lol

Supporting DJ Switch, and anything up to a few hundred people I think. He wants the crowd really wound up just before he comes on, so I'm playing stuff like Pieces, Tear You Down, Timewarp, plus a few remixes of well-known tracks (No One, Human Nature, Hit The Road Jack). I'm crapping myself but it'll be really good experience as I rarely get the chance to play vinyl out.

i usually plan the first 20 minutes of a set. depending on what time i playin, i can usually judge whats gonna go down well. and i dont play jump up like most others so it DOES go down well.

Just played this set and it went well:

Chase & Status - Pieces
Brookes Brothers - Tear You Down
Sub Focus - Timewarp
TC - Jump
Damien Marley - Welcome to Jamrock (FLARE001)
Michael Jackson - Human Nature (Makoto & Specialist RMX)
Alicia Keys - No One (Visionary RMX)
Ray Charles - Hit The Road Jack (RMX)
Pendulum - Tarantula

I sort my records by genre and from there i put records that word well together close by.

but ive only got like 30 so its not that hard to group them...
